Albert W. & Viola Brown Award
Nominations must be turned in to the nominations committee by Saturday, December 14th.
- The candidate must have been a Lion for at least ten years as of July 1 of the current Lions year.
- The candidate must have held a District 2-E2 office or served on a District 2-E2 Entity Board (i.e., Texas Lions Camp, 2-E2 Organ & Eye Bank, Drug Awareness Council, J. C. Hyer Camp), or served as a District 2-E2 chairman or been a District 2-E2 cabinet member for at least five years (combined total for all these positions).
- The candidate cannot have served as a District Governor in District 2-E2.
- The Nominee must be nominated by a PDG who is in good standing in District 2-E2.
- The Awards Ceremony for the presentation and recognition of the Honoree shall be a separate event, not at/or in conjunction with any club or district function. Arrangements shall be made by the Albert W. and Viola Brown Humanitarian Award Committee with the assistance of the recipient and the recipient’s club.
Grassroots Lion Award
Please fill out the form online, print it, and mail it to the address on the form. Clubs may nominate one Lions for this award. The minimum standards to qualify for the Lions District 2-E2 Grassroots Lions Award are:
- An active member in good standing of a club in good standing.
- Outstanding and dedicated service to Lionism.
- Has not achieved the office of Vice District Governor.
- Service to the community and his/her club.
